Inside the entrance of the World Forestry Center’s Discovery Museum is a beautifully engraved wall composed of wooden and stone plaques. This is our donor recognition wall that states our mission and is illustrated with beautiful images and quotes.
Donors who over their lifetimes have given the World Forestry Center more than $10,000 are engraved on a plaque. The plaque’s size and type of wood indicate the donor’s contribution level. The wall will be updated once a year and donors can move up to larger plaques that indicate their new giving level. These levels or “clubs” are listed below:
Sustainer $10,000 - $49,999
Patron $50,000 - $99,999
Benefactor $100,000 - $499,999
Founder $500,000 - $999,999
Mission Keeper – One Million Dollars or More

Here is an attractive and permanent way to show your support for sustainable forests. These slate tiles are also a wonderfully unique way to commemorate, honor or remember a friend, loved one, or pet. They also make great holiday, birthday or anniversary gifts. If the proper information is provided, we will send a card announcing your gift.
Phase one of these slate tiles was installed in celebration of the first complete exhibit renovation at our Discovery Museum in June 2005. Phase II was rolled out in October of 2006 and subsequent additions to the wall will be made as enough names or messages are collected to fill a new segment. Gift cards can be sent throughout the year.
