Endowments
The World Forestry Center has established an endowment fund at the Oregon Community Foundation. The proceeds from this endowment provide annual funding for Discovery Museum operations and educational programs for children. A gift to the endowment fund is particularly valuable as it works to insure our mission into the future and allows annual fundraising efforts to focus on expanded educational programs.
Living Endowment
Forest owners can create a Living Endowment by donating their property to the World Forestry Center, a non-profit organization with a program for holding and managing forest lands. You receive tax benefits from your donation, your land remains a working forest, and a legacy is created to support and promote sustainable forestry worldwide.
