The extraordinary economic growth of many countries in Asia over the last decade has made the region a primary driving force impacting wood demand and supply. Asia’s hunger for wood has made it one of the top destinations for exporters, especially in the Northwest. “Changing Dynamics of the Asia-Pacific Wood Trade” is a two-day conference organized by the World Forestry Center that will feature a roster of international speakers from the forest industry, covering current and future trends in logs, lumber, and wood biomass trade in Asia.
The 2018 Agenda is still in development, but the 2016 program is here.
