As a project manager at the Centre for Social Development, Enkeleda Pjetri is in charge of planning and managing the implementation of project activities related to informing and empowering young people on active citizenship, democracy, environment, sustainable development of natural resources and other community related issues. With a background on Forest Engineer and with an MSc in Forest Policy and Economics, and several years of experience in working with local NGO in Albania as well as working as a consultant in the forestry and environmental field, she has a relevant experience with non-governmental sector and the forest and environment one.

As a Community Solutions program fellow, hosted by the World Forest Institute she hopes to have the possibility to widen her knowledge on forestry and environment community related issues, sustainable development of natural resources etc; learn how the nonprofit sector works in the US; and aims to widen her professional network as well as friendship ones, by exchanging experience and information. All of this would be used in her return to her home country Albania, where best practices learned and experience gained will be applied locally.
