Getting to the Conference

Who Will Own the Forest? and The Forest Products Forum will be held at World Forestry Center’s campus in Miller and Cheatham Halls. We are located adjacent to the Oregon Zoo and Hoyt Arboretum.

Conference sessions are in Miller Hall. Receptions and luncheons are held in the Discovery Museum, Cheatham Hall, and the Central Plaza.

Getting Here By Car

From the city center, take Highway 26 West. The first exit (one mile beyond the tunnel) is marked “Forestry Center, Zoo.” Take this exit and stay left as you enter the parking area. World Forestry Center is near the north end of the lot.

Parking

Washington Park charges for parking starting from 9:30 am. This fee is collected by Portland Parks and Recreation. You can pay at the parking stations or using the Parking Kitty mobile app.

Parking rates are:

  • USD $2.00/Hour
  • USD $8.00/All Day

Getting Here By Light Rail

World Forestry Center is located at the Washington Park Max station and is easily accessible via the MAX light rail (Red or Blue Lines). All-day passes are $5.

From downtown Portland to World Forestry Center: Board the MAX Blue Line or Red Line heading west. A westbound train leaves every five to ten minutes. Exit at the Washington Park Station, take the elevator up to the ground floor, and follow signs to our campus.

From the Airport to downtown Portland: Board the MAX Red Line from the Portland International Airport to the city center. This train leaves every 15 minutes.
